Dear Support Coordinator,

As 2025 begins to wrap up, many Support Coordinators are already looking ahead to explore new supports and programs to help their participants stay active, build confidence, and improve their overall wellbeing in 2026.

At Strength Community, we’ve been proudly supporting NDIS participants across the Hunter for over 7 years, leading the way in disability-friendly health and fitness. Based conveniently in Wallsend (71 Cowper St), we specialise in accessible, personalised, and goal-focused training programs designed to meet participants where they are — whether they’re beginners or experienced gym-goers.


What We Offer

1-on-1 Personal Training

Tailored sessions designed around the participant’s goals, abilities, and support needs, delivered by qualified and experienced coaches.

1-on-1 Supported Exercise Programs

Perfect for participants who require extra guidance, structure, or support during exercise. These sessions are engaging, safe, and aligned with NDIS goals such as building strength, coordination, independence, confidence, and community participation.


Specialised Programs

🏉 The Footy Program

For participants who play footy or simply love the game.
We focus on improving:

  • Strength and conditioning
  • Ball handling and kicking skills
  • Speed, agility, and endurance
  • Game confidence and enjoyment

Ideal for those who want to take their skills further or simply stay active doing something they enjoy.

💪 The Gym Fundamentals Program (Our Most Popular Program)

Created for:

  • People with no gym experience wanting to learn the basics safely and confidently
  • Participants with experience who want to push themselves, refine technique, or set new goals

We teach safe movement, build routine, improve confidence, and help participants become independent in a gym environment.

Drop in Supported group Session

Drop in sessions are plan friendly sessions. 1:3 supported sessions. Planned work outs of the day or do your own thing with support.


Funding Options

We can utilise:

  • Capacity Building 
  • Core Supports

There are no out-of-pocket costs for gym access — everything is included.


Free Meet & Greet

We offer every new participant a free meet & greet where they can:

  • Visit our studio
  • Meet their coach
  • Ask questions
  • Make sure it feels like the right fit

No pressure, no commitment — just an opportunity to build comfort and confidence.
